We had a wonderful visit with Erin's parents the second week of August. It's so nice to have family come visit us! Can we make all visits permanent? We kept busy for four days with visits to Napa, Half Moon Bay, Sausalito, and the city. We can't wait for a return visit!

Alcatraz and Half Moon Bay

| After three years we finally visited Alcatraz! What a spooky place. This is an anniversary year for the prison and was a day of "celebration" on the island. We had the opportunity to listen to two former inmates and guards share their stories from their days in Alcatraz more then 50 years ago. |

| We finished the day with a delicious seafood dinner at Sam's Chowder House in Half Moon Bay. After dinner, we enjoyed desserts outside by the firepit...so relaxing and fun! |
